Is there something called too many archive entries?

  • The archives count for this page’s posts stands at 5695 now. Is that too much? Asking because with the category archive widget enabke for this page, it is not loading anymore. Shows 500 error.

    If it is too many how do I solve the issue? Currently disabling the widget loads the page fine.

    Hoping to hear back from you soon on this. It is a critical page that we need to have fully functional.
