• Hi,

I am using both the POS plugin alongside the print manager, and when i print an order. The printed ticket doesn’t have the products sorted by their category. Only by price.

Is there any way to have the basket sort the products into each category.

So lets say if this was a restaurant all the drinks, starters, main courses are all grouped together?

    Thanks,

A few options to consider, Product Mapping Add-on and Custom Print Templates Development.

We’d recommend you evaluate our add-on for Product Mapping for Print Manager, https://www.bizswoop.com/product/product-mapping/

Since this is a premium add-on, we don’t provide support or discuss the functionality on the public forum, feel free to contact us directly at https://www.bizswoop.com/support/ for any questions about support features or functionalities.

We also support developer templates for Print Manager, https://www.bizswoop.com/wp/print/developer/ allowing you to develop custom layouts, styling, grouping and etc for the most print template flexibility based upon your requirements.

Is there any way to just keep the order that products are added instead of sorting my price?

At the minute the products appear to be in order of when you added them to the cart, however when you click save order it then auto-sorts the cart by price, thus messing up the entire order

If i am not able to have the products grouped by category without a custom template, surely i should at least be able to keep the order they are added to the order and not have it auto sort by price?

Unfortunately not. As you highlighted, right now we default POS orders to sort products in the order meta by Price High to Low.

In development is a feature to allow Cart level sorting of product items, which will include the Order Meta sorting as well. We hope to release that later this year as part of an upcoming release.
