Is there any way to restrict email notifications only in plain text

  • Hi there Mattyrob!

    Is there any way in which I can restrict sending email notifications only in plain text? If the user subscribes to full html, all of the post plus all of the image content is sent into their email. I would like to be able to override it so that my images are not sent directly into the inbox of subscribers, if possible.

    This depends on how you want to configure and operate your site and also whether you are using Subscribe2 (free) or Subscribe2 HTML (paid).

    With the free version, Public subscribers get plain text by default so only user who have registered and opted to get full content HTML emails will get your images sent.

    With the paid version (Subscribe2 HTML) images are sent by default to Public subscribers but this can be changed with a filter and a little code.
