• Hi,

The points are a good feature to ‘gamify’ a web, but I would like to use this points to let users buy some digital products (download a file, give him a special badge, etc). Is there any way to use the badgeos points to buy something? Would be awesome if the system is automatic (like woocomerce but to work with points instead €/$), but I don’t have any problem if this could do manually (For example: create a button that could be clicked by any user and warn the admin that someone wants to buy something, and then you enter en his profile and takes manually the points).

Is that posible or are you planing to do?

I wager it could be possible, by all means, but I don’t know of any existing code/setup for handling it. So it’d be a nice amount of custom development to set up the ability.

No known plans to implement this in an official capacity.

You can do it if you implement the myCRED point management system plugin. It has all the infrastructure to let you do just about anything with points, and it works well with BadgeOS. All you’ll need to do is award myCRED points for each badge and use that instead of the BadgeOS points.
