Is there any way to auto populate events?

    Hi, we would like a way to simply import and auto populate events on a section of our website, specifically all websites in Ho Chi Minh City. Is there any way to do this using this plugin or any other? I think it would be far too complicated to have to create every single event manually, it’s nothing something our team has the capacity to do.

    Hello @dandanflood ,

    Well, there is no fully automated way to populate events into your website but our plugin can help you make it semi-automated. After a recent Facebook API update, you can import events related to your account only means events that you have created or created on-page you own or events you marked as interested, etc.

    So you can import events using our plugin which are
    – Marked as interested/Going using your FB account
    – Events you own/created

    You need to create an FB app and authorize using the same in a plugin and you can schedule import on a regular interval which will import events related to your account.

    So it’s semi-automated as you need to mark events and our plugin will import it. Please feel free to let us know if any further questions.

    Okay, thanks for the helpful response. I have no idea how I might go about setting this up though. I want to be able to promote local events and venues from our website.

    When I open your plugin in WordPress, I don’t see too many options other than being able to create new events.

    Thank you. I have added the app and authorized it in WordPress, but when I try to import “My Events” the option is gray and not selectable (even though I marked events as Interested).

    Also, I want to add it to my home page section using elementor, is there someplace where I find a shortcode and add it in to make it display?

    Oh, thanks for the update. Right now, I don’t have a finished website or any revenues. A freemium option would be kinda cool ^_^
