Is there any way of implementing default LaTeX behavior?

    Implementing default LaTeX filter like \(…\) $…$ for inline math, \[…\] $$…$$ for display style would be more beneficial as it is easier to type. Simple MathJax implements that but MathJax is ugly and heavier.

    Thank you for the suggestion!

    This feature is not currently planned to be implemented. It somewhat goes against normal WordPress plugin usage of shortcodes, so has a high likelihood of being confusing or breaking things.

    For inline math I’d suggest to stick with [latex][/latex]. For display math, the Gutenberg blocks are recommended.
