Is there any use for just core plugin? Just curious

    I have been using this for years and years, pretty much since the beginning.

    I understand some devs need for a subscription version. No big deal, I have many paid plugins (not for my personal blog though).

    Anyway the plugin does not even seem to redirect people to (at least) the home page anymore. If my dad gets redirected to /wp-admin/profile.php he is confused and probably thinks he has been hacked haha.

    But is there any reason to still use just the core version? It doens’t seem to do much. Just wondering

    The core version still does a lot, such as taking all the actions you would normally use wp-login.php for and putting them within your theme, as the plugin name implies.
