Is there any risk to lose something when I update the theme?

    I want to update this theme I′m using for my website right now? Is there something I need to know before doing it? I want to make sure I don′t lose anything…information, the specific colors I already chose. Please let me know if I have to do something before I update this theme.

    Hope you’re well today ??

    Generally non of the theme setting and content especially shouldn’t be affected by the theme update.

    The only thing you should be worried about is in case you edited any of the theme files because when you update the theme what happens is that theme files gets overridden so in case you didn’t do any modifications in the code there is nothing to worry about.

    If you want to be extra safe you can always create a site backup and then update the theme so you have something to restore to just in case anything goes wrong.
