    I wonder if anyone benchmarked or measured the benefit of this plugin. Cos i can’t see any differnce on my end.

  • It gets rid of all the assets that are being added on the front and backend to add polyfills for older browsers that do not natively support emojis. For example, it dequeues this file: wp-includes/js/wp-emoji-release.min.js?ver=4.8.1.
