I really like your plugin. I’m wondering if it has an option to display existing WordPress Posts and Categories, instead? I would like BuddyPress users to be able to add content to it, and I have a plugin that allows users to add a Post from the frontend.

If not, do you know of a plugin that displays categories and posts in a similar style like yours?

Sorry Vantra, the WP Knowledgebase plugin is based around it’s own custom post type and that is very core to the plugin so it’s not really something you’d want to adjust. However you do have a few options:

1.) You could allow front end submissions from users posting directly into the KB. This would be appropriate if you do in fact want a KB on your site, with user submitted content. The easiest way to achieve this that I know of would be with a Gravity Form + their Front End Submissions extension, configured to post to the KB (as opposed to blog)

2.) If what you really want is for your blog to be styled similar to this KB, you could ask a developer to style it for you. WordPress is extremely flexible and with a custom theme you can style your posts however you want.

Does that help point you in the right direction?
