Is There an Easier Site Than WordPress

Perhaps you should give WordPress.com a go?

I have had this site for over a year, very complicated. The solutions in the forums are basically whale-song for most users. I have been trying to give it a “GO” for along time. I just want to upload a photo without having to run to the Support Forums with massive convoluted solutions. Someone should have developed a very user friendly site by now, just WHO??

Not that I’ve come across. I have quite few non-technical clients who manage their own sites 90% of the time and they find WP relatively easy to use compared to other CMS.

www.remarpro.com and WordPress.com are different (self-hosted versus managed), you know that, right?

I did NOT know that. I was under the impression that they were synonymous.

I need a very simple self-managed web-site to manage a campaign. I currently have https://www.leadershipconduct.com. I just am having a tough time managing it.

Thank You ALISM, that was helpful. I did register for a WordPress.com account and now it tells me that I am not the Administrator. You can really help me by suggesting a user friendly site that I can begin using immediately. I have been working on this issue for over 6 hours and I am frustrated. Please help. Thank You.

In what way aren’t you the Admin? If you mean that you cannot upload plugins etc, you can’t do that on any wordpress.com account.

The bottom line is that, if you want to control your own site, you need to learn to use the tools that will help you do that. Or employ a professional to do it for you.

I think that if a button states “Add Image”, then you should be able to add an image without it being a major production. Using the tools that are being provided is the troublesome issue, not the understanding of the tools.
