Is there an About widget in this theme?

    On the sample page for the Lovecraft theme, there is a widget on the left with the heading “About Lovecraft”. I’d like to have the same, but I don’t see an About or Free Text widget available. I worked around it by using an HTML widget, but I had to inspect the theme and set my heading by hand (<h3 class=”widget-title”>). Is there a better alternative?

    Hi @patrickmay,

    The “About Lovecraft” widget on the demo site is just a old-fashioned “Text Widget” (pretty much the same as the HTML widget) with a title and text set. It’s a bit more tricky to replicate with the new widget system in WordPress 5.8, so if you want to replicate it exactly, the easiest solution would be to install the “Classic Widgets” plugin that restores the old widget settings page.
