Is there a way to stop slides from getting cropped?

Hello!

I have made a banner slider which contains various images, most of which have text which spans probably 75% of the banner, the problem with this is that the text gets cropped when viewed on a mobile, I have set the min-height to 200px otherwise the banner is too small to view on mobile. Is there a way to set the image to cover instead of fill, I think this might help a bit, even if it crops a little off the edges I don’t mind, but at the minute I have to create the banners with the text completely centered to avoid the mobile slider resize cropping half of the image.

Fit and center give too much white space on the top & bottom of the image.
