    We twice tried deleting The Events Calendar (which said it deleted the plugin and all its data) and then reinstalling it in order to return it to its original state; i.e., with all settings back to their defaults. However, all the previous event entries we had made were still visible and all settings were still as they existed after the changes we had made. Is there any way of resetting everything back to default, or getting a clean version of The Events Calendar plugin reinstalled?

    Hi there,

    I’m afraid that there is not a built in way to restore everything to default, typically you would need to delete all of the events in the Event admin. As far as a backend/database solution for clearing all of this data, we typically don’t recommend this type of thing because altering the database can cause issues.

    Thanks, Truman. I suspected as much but figured I’d post the query and see what might come back. In any event (pun intended), we’ve simply inserted Additional CSS code to overcome the issues we’re having with certain specific elements in The Events Calendar that don’t have associated settings to alter the font colors and are therefore unreadable with the theme we’re using. I’ll mark this as resolved now.
