is there a way to make edging around the main body like this site?

    i’m trying to make a border around the main body and canted corners like this website?

    my strategy was make a header and footer image with transparent corners, then make a repeating image with the edges to fill the body. the problem i’m running into is the main body image repeats all the way into the header, and you can see it behind the transparent parts.

    any suggestions on this? i’ve tried firebugging both my site and the wedding chicks site and i really haven’t found any solutions.
