Is there a way to make a wordpress site without a theme?

  • I tried to make a site with a minimalistic theme but the client we are working with is looking for it to be theme less, is this even possible to output a site without a theme?

    No, a theme is necessary. Your client doesn’t understand what a theme does.

    Use a starter theme like _s (underscore S). It has all the necessary elements of a WP theme, but no real styling to speak of. If you use the starter theme unmodified, WP output will appear to be “unthemed”. I cannot imagine why anyone would desire such a look, but someone could do so.
