Is there a way to ‘lock’ the product description?

    Hi,

    I run a drop shipping business, so my stock changes all the time and I’m currently using WP All Import to upload my products etc.

    I want to rewrite my product descriptions and was wondering if WooCommerce or even WP had a way of ‘locking’ the description so that it cannot be altered?

    I can remove the description tab when I upload a CSV file but that means that no descriptions will upload and manually inserting 2000 descriptions will be very time consuming.

    If anyone has any ideas, please feel free to share them.

    I don’t know of a plugin or any other solution that could add such a feature. You may want to consult with a web developer to see if this can done via customization.     Hi @stanleymog,

    Making the WooCommerce product description read-only would require customization as outlined above. If you don’t want to hire a developer you can ask on these channels where developers hang out and can possibly point you in the right direction:
