Hey there, @ika2525! Thanks for contacting us. I’m happy to help you.
Do you mind clarifying your goal to us so we can assist you further?
Just to confirm, you mean you want to link the WooCommerce customers list you find on WooCommerce > Customers to the WordPress users list you find on the Users sections of your store’s dashboard, correct?
By default, when a customer creates an account on your store, they are added to the WP users list. Then, when they make a purchase, they are added to the Woo Customers list. If they are on both, it is linked by default.
Here’s an example:
This is a screenshot from WooCommerce > Customers
1 – Julie (fake name for a test account) is a customer who has created an account and purchased an item in the store. If I click the name, it will take me to their WordPress profile, so the list from WC customers and WP users is linked.
2 – Test is another test customer who made a purchase without creating an account, so their name is not linked anywhere
You also mentioned sharing the information, do you mind telling us where you want to share it? This can help us know what would be the best option for you.
Looking forward to your reply.
Have a wonderful day!
thank you for your reply!
Good to know that! Please ask additional questions.- Can I request to register for a WooCommerce account before making a purchase? Or do I have to proceed to the purchase page?

Hey, @ika2525! I’m happy to answer further questions.
Can I request to register for a WooCommerce account before making a purchase? Or do I have to proceed to the purchase page?
As I understand you want to know if you can make it mandatory for the customer to create an account before purchasing something, correct?
If it is, it is possible, to do that, please follow the steps below:
- Go to WooCommerce > Settings > Account & Privacy
- Under Guest Checkout, make sure the option “Allow customers to place orders without an account” is not enabled
- You can also check the Account creation section to make sure the settings are how you want them to be
- Save the changes, if you made any

It is possible to change the user roles of the WordPress accounts on the site. But do you mind sharing more details on what permissions you want to change so we can make sure to guide you in the right direction?
Looking forward to your reply.

I plan to create a WooCommerce subscription and create two monthly plans. Use the Crocoblock plugin’s dynamic visibility feature to set up two user permissions and change what is displayed for each plan. However, I was previously told that WooCommerce Subscriptions does not have the ability to automatically change user permissions on a per-plan basis. So I wanted to know how to automatically change permissions for users who have purchased different plans.
It was suggested that you use WooCommerce Subscription and WooCommerce Membership together. I was told that my boyfriend’s WooCommerce membership allows me to change user permissions for plan buyers.
Here are the steps:
- Have users register for an account before purchasing a WooCommerce subscription plan. =Added to WP users.
- Purchasing a plan entitles users to WooCommerce membership.
If anyone knows, I would like to know, but are the user privileges granted with WooCommerce membership the same as when registering an account, and are they also reflected on WP users? If you know, please let us know!
Hello @ika2525,
Have users register for an account before purchasing a WooCommerce subscription plan. =Added to WP users.
This can be achieved by selecting the following option from the attached screenshot.

As for this part, unfortunately, it’s not something we can address in the forums as both Woo Subscriptions and WooCommerce Memberships are premium extensions.
I suggest checking if your question is covered in the WooCommerce membership documentation.
If it’s not covered there, you’re welcome to open a ticket from WooCommerce.com > MY profile > Support. :?)
Make sure to include a link to this thread so we know what has been done already and to contact us from the same account you used to purchase the extension.
Let us know if you have any other questions!Hey there ??,
We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved – we’ll be here if you need any further help with this.
Cheers!
