Is there a way to limit the text?

that would probably have to be an added option. do you mean on the search results pages or on the single author detail page?

Hi! I mean on the search results page. I want to use this plugin to create a list of all of our authors. But we have about 60 now (and want to grow) and some of them have added a description of themselves that is close to 100 or 150 words. I don’t want to change that, but with this plugin it makes for one terribly long list…

So, where in the topscreenshot it says “Joe is a great author for our site”… If that snippet could be reduced to 50 signs or something randomly changeable, it would be perfect!

I have limited the number of characters but this option doesnt seem to have worked for me??? Any ideas why? As you can see a few bios are still very long

All in all this has promise to be great plugin.

I do have other questions but I will start another thread so as not to confuse things ??

If you are logged in as admin, you will see the full descriptions of authors and contributors.
This allows search plugins like Relevanssi to get all that information. Logout to see the normal user view.
