Is there a way to "hide" certain words in the posts

    Is there a way to “hide” certain words in the post so they wont appear in the featured posts, before the “read more’. Sometimes I write :”shirt in picture from 12345″(with a link) and it appears in the featured post (the preview for the post). I tried to add that inside the image caption but then I have a frame around the image

    for this you need to remove the excerpt tag from featured query or you can simple add <—more—-> tag to make it ignore
