Is there a way to display posts previous to the current post?

Hi,

I’d like to display something similar to what we see when we bring up an “archive” page for category (list of posts in chronological order based on category), but I want it to *start from* the current post, so you’d start at:

site.com/category/post-title

and you’d see that post, and then below it the two (or more) posts that came *before* the current one, in the same category as the current one. (I’d also like to do the same thing for the two (or more) posts that came *after* the current on in that category.)

Is this possible in WordPress (either of these things)?
