Is there a way to display availability date for backorder products?

    I’ve looked about, but I can’t see a way to display product availability dates (as defined in the back-end) for the customer’s benefit. ‘Available for backorder’ is all I can get on the front-end, despite specifying an availability date on both inventory and variable product levels. I don’t want to have to add yet another plugin for such a simple operation!

    I understand that for products in backorder status, you would like to add an availability date.

    Please be advised that WooCommerce Core does not include this functionality by default. To implement this functionality, you can use an extension like this one: Estimated Delivery Date & Time for WooCommerce

    Thanks for the response and as I feared, the answer lies in yet another plug-in to add to a WordPress installation. Oh well….
