Is there a way to create a new capability like "groups_edit_post"

  • Hi there,

    Current this plugin have a capability called “groups_read_post”, means only users in same group can read the post, so is there a way to create a new capability, to allow only users in same group both can edit the post? for the default WordPress only provide 2 level edit permission, either you can edit you own posts, or you can edit all others posts..so I hope this plugin can help me create some groups then I can let user only can edit their group’s posts.

    I’m also looking for that behaviour. Users should be able to edit posts/pages from other users of the same group.
    Is that possible ?
    How can we create a custom capability to get this to work ?

    Thanks for the suggestions, I’m currently working on extended access restrictions that will cover these features. I hope to have these available soon but can’t promise an ETA yet.
