  • I have the same question…is there any way to change the date format?

Currently, in the plugin, it is only displayed as Day-Month-Year

Can I change it to reflect Month-Day-Year?

For example, I cannot manually change December 31, 2014 to 12-31-2014 because it doesn’t recognize “31” as a valid month.

    Thanks so much!

also…would there also be any way to not display the date of achievement on the linked page? (there is that option for the widget)

    Hello Josiology and Dwen619,

Sorry for the answer’s delay and thanks for using our plugin !

Actually, you can’t change the date format without modifying the code.
For the shortcode, you can modify the date format within the files “bucketlist_shortcodes.php” on line 68 i think.

But, i’ll make an update this weekend, and i’ll add the date format to the shortcodes options.
With this option you’ll be able to give throught shortcodes definition the date format which you want, that can be OK for you two ?

For Dwen619, no actually you can’t do that too, but i’ll add this option to the shortcode too!

I’ll try to post the update this week-end !

    Best regards,
    Nicolas

thanks so much – that would be so helpful!

    Hello Josiology, Hello Dwen !

I’ve made the update for the plugin.
You can now control the date format onto the shortcode and widget.

To know the value and the correct format you need to enter, you can refer to the PHP documentation here : https://php.net/manual/en/function.date.php

    Date format example (shortcode):

    • Josiology: [bucketlist dateformat=”Y-m-d”]
    • Dwen: [bucketlist dateformat=”m-d-Y”]

You can hide the date with the option “displaydate”, example : [bucketlist displaydate=”0″]

I hope that update resolve your both issues, let me know if everything is OK !

    Best Regards,
    Nicolas
