I ship wine. Generally we ship in 12 bottle cases. The shipping weight is built up from the individually added items. What if someone orders 2 cases (24 bottles)? It exceeds the weight (25kg) and cannot be shipped. But in reality we just ship 2 separate boxes.

Is there a work around? Or is there another compatible plugin that handle packing variation etc?

This is something we have given a lot of consideration to already. As Sendle does not support multiple packages in one shipment/booking there are a few challenges. Certainly for quoting shipping in the cart we could add up the total weight and decide it needs 2 x 25kg packages, but since the plugin also books, it would need to make 2 separate bookings, have 2 separate label’s and tracking details saved. We are giving consideration to this and have added it to our backlog of features to add. In the meantime I suggest to create a table based shipping method which caters for exceeding 25kg and apply sendle’s 25kg pricing for each 25kg total weight.

$100 donation from me if you make this work as above.
We ship 25kg items.. so each one is a parcel.

    Also: Additional Handling Fee Applied
Should allow negative value (per parcel).

    example/Usecase:
default sendle rate is $30/parcel for 25kg to most addresses in Australia.
set Additional Handling Fee Applied: -$30
= Free shipping for anywhere in Sendle Network.
= $14 per parcel for remote area deliveries (customer pays..)
