[Theme: Exclusive] Is there a way to add more menus to Exclusive?

    Hello, WordPress Friends!

    I am very new to this, and trying to make a business website using WP. I like the look of the Exclusive theme, but I want to have different pages with links (like “Contact us”, “Directions”, “Materials we accept”, etc.) – however, when I click on “Navigation”, it says “this theme supports one menu”. Is there any way to add more, to have a navigation bar with several links?

  • Forgive me if I’m not understanding correctly, but do you just mean you would like more tabs at the top navigation of the menu?

    Yes – Is that not the same thing as more menus? Please forgive my inexperience, brand new to this, but I pretty much want to make a standard website with a main page and four other pages.

    No problem at all. I just wanted to make sure this is what you meant. If you go to your dashboard on the left hand side, go to Themes, then on your Themes go to Theme details, there will be an option to go to Menus to add, remove, and edit the content of the tabs on your site. And like you said you wanted “Contact us”, “Directions”, “Materials we accept” tabs. You can add those as new pages first by going to Pages, then Add New. Those can then be added as tabs by again going to Menus under the Appearance in your WordPress Dashboard. I hope this helps. If I can be of any further assistance, please ask.

    Thank you so much, Andy, that is such a clear explanation, much easier than the book I’ve been using! I’ll give it a go.
