Is there a way to add a license key to old orders?

Ok, found it.

It’s on Generators and then Generate button. It seems i have to manually add the key on each order, right?
Is there a way to programmatically add it on orders before a certain date?

Yes, you would have to manually add the license key to the order you wish. You also need to assign the license key to a product present in that said order, otherwise it won’t show up.

You could also do this programatically. You would first need to retrieve all the orders before a certain date, then loop through said orders and add a license key for them (or update an existing license key order_id and product_id column).

Would be great to know what’s your plugin’s function to call to autogenerate keys on orders previous a certain date.

Sadly there is no such specific function. To add a license key, there currently only is the License Resource Repository

which implements the Abstract Resource Repository

In your case, you will want to use the “insert()” method of the License Resource Repository.
