Is there a way to account for scanned tickets?

I am wondering if there is a way for purchased tickets that appear in the wordpress backend to be checked off and accounted for when they are scanned with a mobile device QR reader.

The reason I am asking about this is to prevent users from sharing tickets and having them always scan as “valid”.

Without this feature, a ticket-taker would have to scan a ticket to confirm whether a ticket is valid AND ALSO have to consult a printed list to see if they have already scanned that same ticket earlier in the evening.

Maybe this feature exists already and I am not able to find it. Is this the case?
