  • I have a standard WordPress search widget on my site. It returns ai1ec events (although only the first instance of repeating events).

Probably something I should tidy up a bit.

    Hi Derek,

the standard WordPress search widget doesn’t work really well on my side.

Ah. In that case I’m stuck – just an ai1ec user who got (sort of) lucky I guess!

The standard widget is far from ideal on my site – it’s now on my Things To Sort Out list.

There is an ideas subdomain at ideas.time.ly that would be worth browsng through and adding to. If there’s not already an entry for improved search tools create one. I’ll certainly upvote it when I get to it.

    Hi @sjl10,

The standard WordPress search widget is the proper method to perform a search in your WordPress calendar (if using our Core plugin calendar). The search will pull results from all your events. If you are using the month view obviously you will need a theme where you can insert a search widget on the page. It will, however, work from any page.
