Is there a recommended PDF Invoice plugin which supports TP?

    Hi again,

    I am looking for suggestions regarding a PDF Invoice / Packing Slip plug-in which ideally works well with TP out the box. I was looking into PDF Invoice & Packing Slips.

    The free version of this plugin sends PDF Invoices in the stores default language rather than the users language. As an admin, You need to switch the store language to the users language prior to sending order status related emails and it appears that the PRO Version will do this automatically but only supports WPML and Polylang. ??

    I am looking for a workaround or alternative plugin. If anybody has any suggestions or recommendations, please let me know.

    Hi there,

    WooCommerce PDF Invoices & Packing Slips is the pluging our team is making sure to properly work with TranslatePress, but unfortunaly what you are asking for doesn’t work because our plugin doesn’t store the user’s language.

    Thanks to you all, this has become a tracked feature and will be available in the future versions of TranslatePress – but, as there are other features more requested that require prioritization??, I can’t give you a timeframe for when will this be implemented.

    Thank you @cristiandraghia. That would be really awesome. When you say can’t give a timeframe, Is it be possible to be a little more precise? Are we talking weeks, months, years here? — We will have some more languages we want to integrate in our site in the future, so the problem will only grow. If things would take too long we might consider switching translation plugins, but it would be ace if we can avoid that of course…

    I’m sorry, but I can’t really answer that question because in reality we ourselves aren’t sure when that will happen.

    The reason for being this ambiguous is because adding new features isn’t the only thing we need to do. A lot of time is dedicated to fixing bugs and strange interactions with different plugins/themes.

    What I can say is that this feature has recently been added to out to do list so it’s priority number isn’t that high. This might change in the future if more people will request it.

    I know this didn’t really answer your question, but if there was a more precise answer, I would have said it instead of saying “I can’t give you a timeframe for when will this be implemented”.
