• I have added a tag in the admin called “price4”

    In /wp-admin/edit-tags.php the ID for this tag shows as 201

    When I tag a post with “price4” in the admin a join is added to the wp_term_relationships table for that post but the term_taxonomy_id is 202.

  • As a completely FAKE programmer, I feel obligated to tell you that the syntax in your request for help is completely incorrect.

    Give this a try;

    Whiskey
    Tango
    Foxtrot,

    over…

    Then hunker and pop smoke.

    But seriously…

    What says that taxonomy_id and term_id have to match? term_taxonomy_id may be 205, and term_id may be 205, while the taxonomy may belong to “category”. Conversely, term_taxonomy_id may be 201, and term_id may be 202, and the taxonomy for the ID may belong to “post_tag”. So I ask you, is having term_taxonomy_id and term_id identical, a prerequisite to proper tag function? …and I am asking because, as a “n00b” myself, I really want to know (in spite of my above kidding around).

    What negative impact on functionality are you experiencing in relationship to your inquiry?

    @claytonjames

    I found that quite funny. ??

    We are all FAKE programmers. It is the REAL programmers people have to worry about.

    is there a REAL programmer around that can help me? (doubt it)

    Not now!
