Is there a plugin for rich content editing and layout?

I saw a theme the other day called Brainstorm and it has a neat feature called Content Composer.

I’m wondering if there are any plugins that do something similar?

What I want to do is have a post summary in a differently styled box at the top of my posts and then have images wrap nicely into the content. In addition, the ability for quotes or other different text elements would be nice.

I’ve done some searching for plugins but the best I can find so far are just plugins that let you add columns to a post. I’m looking for something more comprehensive, if it exists.
