Is there a plugin???

  • Hi,

    Can anyone give me some advise?
    I am searching and searching and searching for a plugin that wil do what I need.
    I’ve gone from buddy press, to UsersUltra, UsersPro, Team-plugins, user-meta etc.etc. But none of them really does what i want. Or is too complicated.

    All I want is:
    To facilitate for visitors to register to my site and make them members. The register-form must be customizable by me, because the fields are very unique/rare.
    So I’d like to customize the register-form fields myself and be able to add, delete and name formfields myself. Members have also to be able to upload a profile-piciture and maybe upload some more pictures too.

    Then I’d like to show all the members in one page. This has to be a beautiful list with only the profile-pictures and names for example. Has to look nice. Like with the plugin “Our Team” for example. Only other data. When you click on a member, the complete profile-page of that particular profile must show with the rest of the profile-info added in the register-form. Our Team plugin does this, but I will have to add all the members myself and there is no register and upload possibility for the potential members themselves. With Registerform-plugins there is,…but then there are no beautiful profile listings-page or profile-pages.

    And I’d like other people to be able to comment on the profile page also.

    Can anyone here help me?!!

    Or no plugins for this at all?
    Maybe there are other ways around to accomplish this?

    No one here has an answer to your question. Some one might answer later but this is a weekend and many people are a WordCamp, San Francisco.

    I live in the Netherlands, so I’m clueless about that camp in S.F. also ??
    Weekend is almost over here…

    But I’m thinking about creating a form with Ninja Forms or something like that.
    And hoping this can be combined to some sort of gallery plugin, where people can make comments too…

    Looks so simple but it isn’t ??

    Yes I found out about Chris Lema last week and red some of his articles. Great info! These articles already confirm that it is not easy to find the right (reliable) plugin for anyone.

    After work I will try and look again.
    Maybe I’m have found a way to make it happen otherwise. Not sure yet.

    And maybe, in the meantime, someone else has an idea…I hope..
