Is there a list for most stable WP theme?

  • I’ve been Googling “Most stable WordPress theme” and couldn’t find a reliable source on this. When I say “stable” I mean a theme from a very reliable company that provides good support. A theme (or company) that is flexible, but doesn’t require constant updating.
    I’ve been using themes by Kriesi, and I like them a lot, but I’d also like to have the option of a theme that is not likely to require updating and when it does, the company is likely to be around to assist with it.

  • Genesis Framework by StudioPress is an extremely popular, well supported theme, but not free.

    Responsive by Cyber Chimps is free and has over 1.8mm downloads.

    WooThemes is also a popular one.

    I’ll look into Genesis (I find paid themes of better value in the end). Thanks for that lead, JeffLarish.
