Is there a limit to how many?

  • I’m finding that two of my Categories only hold 5 Posts. I can’t believe that’s true?

    The Category count is showing the correct number (6) but the 6th post and and subsequent posts do not appear on the site.

    New Categories and Posts inside them show up just fine.

    Anyone know of any limit on the number of posts per category (or any other limits)?

    I can’t find a category page on your site. Please link to one directly.

    It’s probably your theme not including the ‘next page’ link.

    In the WordPress admin, under Settings > Reading, see what the setting “Blog Pages show at most” is set to. Set it something higher and see if that makes a difference. But it’s probably also because of the template either using a custom loop and not paging or not including the actual next page links.

    The Categories are Properties for Rent, Properties for Sale – the posts appear inside one of those – or they should.

    I changed it from 10 to 100 but no change. Someone else set it up for me so I don’t know how the template works.

    Your theme isn’t showing the next page link, like it should. I have to say it in generic terms because without seeing your theme, I can’t say what it is, specifically, that’s wrong.

    Solved it. There was a function that was not set to a specific number. When it’s not set, it defaults to 5.
