I was wondering since another plugin makes not of the excerpt for posts but since the posts use AIOSEO’s excerpt field and not the normal wordpress one (which is left blank), it doesn’t pull anything.

Is there a {CF_something} field I can use in place of {excerpt} that would allow the other plugin to pull the data from AIOSEO’s excerpt box/field?

    Hi @jh20001,

It looks like you’re referring to the meta description generated by All in One SEO.

If so, then you can pull the data from _aioseo_description field.

Please note that this will only work if you’ve entered custom meta description in AIOSEO Settings.

If you’re using Post Excerpt smart tag in our meta description field, and there’s no post excerpt present, then we’ll automatically use your post content to generate the meta description and this _aioseo_description field will remain empty.

Rats, yes I was referring to the meta description box. I leave WP’s normal Excerpt box empty. So therefore I wouldn’t be able to extract anything at all then to the other plugin (FS Poster) as the only thing in meta description box is “Post Excerpt” hah. So its a loop of emptiness. Too bad. Thanks.
