Is there a comment word length limit? 404 error

    All my blog comments seem to be working but then I was receiving a “The page you are looking for is not here. Please try a different search or go back to the home page” error when submitting the other day. I tried other blog posts and they worked ok. My designer then tried a shorter comment with success which leads me to believe there is a limit to the number of characters or words. I tried with just a paragraph and still receive the error. Does anyone know character or word limit for blog comments? Is this something new?

  • There shouldn’t be a word limit unless you have installed plugins which reduce the maximum comment length.

    Don’t believe I have any such plugin installed but will double check with my designer. Any other ideas if that is not it? Thank you.

    Looks like it had something to do with Mod_Security.
