Is the PRO version of this plugin a scam?

So, I’ve recently decided to use UM as my main Membership plugin and quickly realized they don’t provide tabbed profile forms, and their documentation for their plugin doesn’t seem to point into how to create them, which is insane. I’ve dived deep into github and it seems that there isn’t a working solution.

So I’ve come across this plugin and I find that this is a free yet limited version of what I need, essentially this plugin simply creates tabbed sections, but doesn’t allow for tabbed profile form sections, which explains why they’re trying to sell the pro version that allows for tabbed profile forms.

I’m tempted to buy that version, but I can’t find anyone who claims it to be working since the most recent updates of Ultimate Membership, in fact, I see people claiming to have been scammed. What is going on here? Does the PRO version of this plugin work with the latest version of UM?
