    Hi,
It work with nginx only if is set as reverse proxy for Apache.

    Thanks

I think that with the right transformation of the htaccess rules into nginx it could work. In addition even with nginx as reverse proxy in front of apache it would be faster if the rules get implemented in nginx instead of apache as a user request would not reach apache for some resources (static files). The only drawback is that we will have to manually edit the nginx configuration for this.

I suggest that the plugin should output as a text the nginx rules and then leave it up to the user to copy and paste those rules into Nginx config and at the same time make known to the plugin that the rules are manually configured just to avoid duplicate rules in nginx and apache htaccess.

    Could this be done?
