    Hi Peter, great to see that you found Loops & Logic. Yes, as the main developer of both plugins, I confirm that it is the next generation of Custom Content Shortcode.

    It’s built on a new foundation based on my experience developing CCS. Instead of shortcodes, which I’ve found to have many limitations, Loops & Logic provides an extensive template language with HTML syntax.

    I plan to make an official announcement in this plugin soon, to recommend people to gradually migrate to Loops & Logic.
