is the order of Snippets in style.css important? (customizr theme)

  • Hello again,

    her comes my second question:
    in my new project, I tried to make several changes of the appearence with the help of snippets in the style.css (in a child theme, as it is recommended).

    My experience is: Sometimes they did not take effect, unless I sorted the snippets in another oder!
    Is that known? Are there any existing rules about what is allowed or not? Or did I make something wrong?

    In CSS, code will override preceding codes if they are referring to the same item.

    Thank you, Denzel, for this hint.
    I just had a try: The snippet that changes the postion of the navbar works well bevor the snippet, that changes the colour of the navbar. but it works well behind it, too!

    So I moved the navbar position snippet to the end, but step by step. As soon as it is behind the snippet that changes the colour of the body, it doesn′t work anymore.

    So this is a bit astonishing to me…what do you think?
