Is the Mega Menu Overriding the Theme Header?

    I installed it yesterday on a sample Astra theme and really like how the mega menu looks.

    However, I only wanted to make “Shop All” a mega menu, but it seems I’ve lost all the theme header settings. Did I miss a setup step? https://snipboard.io/PV4bfx.jpg

    The megamenu will not override your theme’s header. However, if you create the theme header using ElementsKit, it will replace your existing theme header.

    To build the megamenu, please follow these steps:

    1. Enable the Header & Footer Builder module in ElementsKit. This will override any existing theme header.
    2. Add the EKIT Nav Menu Widget to the menu section of your header (screenshot: https://prnt.sc/7_Drk005XJ2u). This step is essential—without it, the megamenu will not function.
    3. Customize your megamenu according to your needs by following the ElementsKit Megamenu Documentation.

    Thank you for your reply, @ahmedamir . I might need some further clarification.

    I am using the Astra theme’s header builder and want to convert the primary menu into a mega menu, as indicated by the red circle in my screenshot. https://snipboard.io/m3KgIo.jpg However, I want to keep other elements, such as the logo, cart, and account, unchanged. Therefore, I didn’t create a new menu or header in Elementskit—I only added a mega menu for “Shop All” within the existing primary menu. https://snipboard.io/VAxYLZ.jpg However, all other elements have disappeared.

    You mentioned that “the mega menu will not override your theme’s header.” My question is: How can I make the mega menu work without enabling the Header Footer module and activating the mega header, which, as you said, would replace the existing theme? https://snipboard.io/UEl2N1.jpg

    I hope you’re doing well. As mentioned in my previous response, to use the megamenu, you need to use the EKIT Nav Menu Widget. Please refer to the attached screenshot for guidance.

    Please note that this widget cannot be used in the Astra theme’s header. To create a megamenu with ElementsKit, follow the instructions provided in the [ElementsKit Megamenu Documentation].
