Is the encryption retroactive?

No, your previous entries will not be Encrypted.

It would be nice to have a button that says:
“We found that you have previous entries in your database that are not encrypted. Would you like to Encrypt them now?”

I will add that to my list of TODO’s for future updates.

If I want to disable the plugin for whatever reason, will it unencrypt my data first? or what is the process to uninstall it? Not that I want to because I think it is great, but just in case for the future.

I am using the symmetrical syncronization.

If you Disable or Remove the Plugin your data will still be Encrypted and you will NOT be able to view the Entries.

So maybe some new features would be
“Make Sure all Entries are Encrypted”.
AND
“Decrypt all Entries”.

This would be a great feature. Not just for the purpose you propose, but currently you can’t switch encryptions after you already have data stored. Adding this would allow someone to “Decrypt all Data” then change settings and then “Re-Encrypt”.
However, this could take a long time to build so I don’t see myself building any of these features anytime soon.

However, if you interested it paying for this work then I can get it scheduled with my company and get it done soon. Let me know if that interests you.
