  • Do you have auto-location enabled ?

That would make a new call for every user visiting your site as they may not live in the same location ??

Hi, thanks for the suggestion. But no, I don’t have auto-location enabled.

Anyway I have resolved the problem I think. Here’s what I did:
    1) I put the built in cache to 0, (I turned it off)

    2) The I used a plugin called Widget on Pages, and I put all my weather forecast in widgets. Also the shortcode [GoGadgetWeather] I put in a separate widget.

3)Then I used a plugin called WP Widget Cache, and I put that chache to 900 s (which is lower than what I used before)..

And after i did that, I haven’t lost any more raindrops. (I haven’t gone over the limit)

So I am not sure what the problem was, maybe the plugin didn’t cache the [GoGadgetWeather]-shortcode, I don’t know. Anyway now it seems like it does.
