Is the autoupdating certain?

Not trying to sound really bad, but I don’t want to manually install WP 2.7 and then find out that WP 2.71/2.72 needs manual updating…

So if there is a chance on the roadmap/it was just a feature that was possible but not really on the roadmap for 2.71/the feature is not in it already, then I will stay with Fantastico for now.

I’ve been using the AutoUpdate in the betas for a while now. It works fine on my various hosts, but some hosts have had issues.

As for waiting for a Fantastico upgrade, you don’t have to wait. You have the thing installed already, right? So just upgrade it manually.
