Is that possible to Overwrite the sync_stock_status function in child theme?

We need to overwrite the “sync_stock_status” function from the mentioned above file.

Thank you for your reply.

We need to set the custom stock status condition.

Currently, that function has only three conditions for the stock status which are InStock, OurOfStock and OnBackOrder.

But we added the multiple custom stock status.

which are not displayed when we apply for the product on the catalogue page.
