    Hello. Is your plugin compress images when update with media_handle_upload function? I am using custom form.

  • Hi @wpuzman,

    At the moment it’s linked to wp_update_attachment_metadata filter, but with the WordPress 5.3 release today, Smush will get an update and use wp_generate_attachment_metadata filter.

    Thank you. It is firing wp_update_attachment_metada.
