A couple of weeks ago I installed Slimstat Analytics to explore its capabilities. I just noticed that since the day it was installed my Google Analytics account for this site is showing “no hits.” I also received a “Missing Tracking Code” notification in my GA account.

The GA tracking code is definitely there as you can see in the source code of my home page.

Is Slimstat Analytics compatible with Google Analytics or did I do something wrong in the installation? I wasn’t going to necessarily choose one over the other unless there is a negative impact on site performance – at least until I get a good feel for Slimstat Analytics reporting.

I realize I can simply deactivate/delete the plugin to see if my GA functionality comes back but I thought I’d ask first rather than risk losing the Slimstat data captured so far. -Thanks.

Please disregard. Upon further troubleshooting I found a slight variation in the current GA tracking code (in my GA account) vs what was on the site. I’m the only one who works on the site so I have no idea how that discrepancy came about. Sorry to bother you with this.

So far, Slimstat Analytics appears to be an awesome plugin.

And it seems fair to assume it is, in fact, compatible with Google Analytics. Thanks.
