Is ShopMagic adding white space to WP files?

    Hi,

    I installed the ShopMagic plugin and it all looks fine… but immediately after installing, I got a message from the Updraft Backup Plugin, that something is adding a white space to the end of my WP outputs and this will cause a problem with backups, see https://updraftplus.com/problems-with-extra-white-space/.

    I deactivated your plugin and Updraft is happy now ?? … but it seems ShopMagic is adding extra white space to the end of WP files.

    Any ideas how to solve this so that I can use ShopMagic and Updraft at the same time?

    Hi @prwordpressorg,

    Thanks for making us aware of this. I was able to replicate it on my end as well and see that there seems to be an issue with ShopMagic creating some whitespace that Updraft doesn’t like.

    Our team will look into this right away and update you with what we learn as soon as we find out!

    This issue should not be resolved with the latest version – please let us know if this is not the case.

    Whoops I misspoke above, the issue *should* be resolved now with the latest version!

    Closing this for now, but let me know if it comes back or needs addressing still.
