Is Really Simple Captcha defunct?

    I used Really Simple Captcha on an old website, and it worked great.

    Now, I can’t figure out how to use it with the latest version of Contact Form 7. There used to be a “generate tag” dropdown list in Contact Form 7 which let you select the Captcha option — but no more.

    Now all I see is the reCAPTCHA form tag generator at the top of the form building interface, but I suspect that’s something completely different from “Really Simple Captcha”.

    How can I use Really Simple Captcha with the latest version of Contact Form 7? Should I just buckle down and learn how to use ReCaptcha?

    Will ReCaptcha work while I’m developing on localhost?
